BNR2871 Turbo Kit
As some of you may know I've decided to sell my BNR setup. I'm selling it b/c I'm at the point where I either want a new car (need 4 doors b/c have a kid now) or I want to go all out and build the motor with a GTX series turbo. Selling this turbo will be my "motivation" so to speak.
The facts: This turbo is in perfect working order. It has ZERO shaft play. It has ZERO oil leakage. It has ZERO problems. The turbo has a tic over 5000 miles on it so its still practically new in terms of mileage/usage. The BNR2871 is easily good for ~380whp on 93 or upwards of 430whp on E85 (E47 mix) and possibly more with fueling upgrades. I put down 408whp on 24.5 psi on E47. The turbo is efficient up to 28psi.
I can't praise this turbo enough. It bolts right up to the stock manifold. If you were to by this turbo new, you'd have to purchase other things to make it work on your setup. Whats nice about THIS deal is that I've done ALL the work for you. All you would need to purchase are a couple of gaskets (2 manifold to turbo gaskets and 1 ring gasket for the O2 housing to exhaust housing connection).
Details of the Kit
I did my setup this way for a few reasons... I could care less about loud BOVs. I wanted to go fast. Going fast means recirculating the bov for better response. This also means that I have set this up as a draw through MAF system just like the car comes stock from the factory. Not only does this keep possible oil blow by off the MAF sensor, it means you don't have to cut and splice longer wires in to relocate your MAF nor do you need to purchase an extra cold side pipe to relocate it. That being said, the BOV is actually quite audible and it sounds ******* amazing under load. Whats also nice is that IF you decide you want to go to a blow through MAF setup, you can purchase the proper pipe fitting plug for the intake to plug the recirc return and be on your merry way. I went all out to make sure this was nice.
Kit includes:
BNR2871
Manifold spacer for BNR2871
Injen hot side charge pipe modified for Synchronic BOV
Vibrant upgrade kit for Injen charge pipe
Synapse Synchronic BOV w/ recirc fitting
K&N Typhoon modified for recirc from BOV and valve cover vent
T bolt clamps for all pressurized connections
Vibrant coupler for turbo > charge pipe connection
The ONLY thing you would need to install this turbo are the gaskets which are...
2 x 12618586
1 x 12609878
I'm selling this as a kit ONLY. This is b/c I have modified the hot side pipe and intake specifically for this setup. Its the best way to run it and I have no use for them with the stock setup.
I'm asking $1500 SHIPPED. This setup would cost well over $2000 new with all the pieces you'd have to gather to make it AND you don't have to worry about sending in a core. Keep your stock turbo as a back up. With the multiple boxes and weight of the turbo, shipping will be near $100 so you're really only paying $1400 for the entire setup. I only ask that you include the 3% if you want to use Paypal unless you gift the money. I do not recommend gifting money through Paypal however as that doesn't give the buyer any protection.
Took this picture just before removing turbo from car. As you can see, sparkly clean...
Engine bay when its all setup. I personally think it looks pretty clean compared to some of the others I've seen *cough* DartSi *cough*

I did! It was on my car.
I'm not sure if he wants to be outed.
I still don't know yet. The need for 4 doors is greater than my desire to build this motor. I love going fast though so my desire may win out.
