There's a 50/50 chance that it is plug and play if I got the polarity correct.

If the polarity is backwards, you'll have to remove the bulb holder part and reverse the wires. It's all spelled out in the auction.

Some like it, some don't. That's why there is more than one color in the crayon box.
The regular bulbs burn out and many people have replaced it with the line of LED dots. If you want something different, this could be it.
