CIA MID LENGHT HEADER + 3" DP w/cat

the part where it is clamped in this picture is where the magnaflow cat was added. that has now been welded shut and i paid $75 bucks for the cat + $100 something to get it welded in on both sides. the dp has a spot for the sensor to be plugged in right before the cat.

$450

or i will sell the dp itself for $200

what's the original plan? cut out idea didn't work i lost money and had to pay for the re-stocking fee. this works i just don't evev know how much a header and dp help vs the stock one. i love the stock exhaust and that will be on my car forever. lol

the cat looks like that but it's brand new so all clean and shinny. i wrote u in the other thread. let me know if u want it i'll be down the shore tomorrow

no, this is the same as stock. it wasn't but i added the magnaflow cat in there and now it's back to stock sounding. i also am on the stock exhaust. it's a good setup just don't know i would rather have the money and put the stock header & dp in for the future when i sell the car. my loss your gain. i spent a bunch of money in getting it welded twice

I know what you mean. I bought the ZZP header/dp combo from a guy for 200, then paid 150 to get a cat welded on, just to pull it off a few weeks later. It was too loud. I really want to put another header/dp on the car, but I don't know. Interested, but don't hold it for me..

it's chill. i can post up vid's. it's the same as stock but i am also on the stock exhaust. it was 3" catless before and was too loud and raspy. that all went away once i got the cat put in. i wanted the jbp header but with all the talk about it i don't even know if you gain hp from it and it's a bitch to put on u have to un-do **** to get it on. not worth it in my opinon to do all that for a header

Yeah dude, install was ******* gay. lol

I definitely felt a nice pull from the header/dp though. But it was so loud. Especially on an auto. Way too droney..

But if you can, for sure post up a sound clip..

alright. i think most header/dp's or exhausts most young guys think since it's loud its going faster. take a camera and film before and after and notice you don't gain anything. lol

thats my personal opionon. i've had zzp catless dp's on my car. two of them which both broke and were garbage. made the car a little louder i was on the stock header/exhaust with the 2.5 zzp catless dp.

and as u can see in the picture the only problem i've had with this header/dp is i don't think it lines up correctly with the stock exhaust. i bought a new gasket did everything and still it is always off and leaks a little bit.

Supposedly there's a 15-ish hp gain with a header/dp? I definitely felt more mid..

lol i felt nothing but then again im used to pushing that button and having a 75whp gain like that. lol

with 60lb injectors, 2.80, airbox mod, this header+dp, cx h/e i put down 249whp on a really low reading mustang dyno so maybe it does do something. lol

also put down 309whp/321torque with a 10.4 afr with the 75shot. since then i've changed things and bumped up my afr i am pretty sure i am around 320whp/340torque for sure. if not a little more. that's under estimating it. also on a mustang dyno.

bump

it is the one from the dp to the exhaust. i am pretty sure if u have a good gasket and then tighten the 2 bolts up good u shouldn't have a problem.

canada? prob. going to be a lot for me to ship it to canada. i have to buy another dp before i take this one off the car so i can send it to you. i just asked my friend he said it would prob cost me $80 for me to ship it to you. not really sure exactly how much it would be but that's a ball park estimate. ether way your getting a dp with a cat that is welded on both sides now and i spent around $400 just on this dp to get all that done. if you are going to buy it just let me know i'll buy another dp and once that one comes in i'll take this one off and then send you this dp and i'll put the other one back in my car since the car is my daily driver.

Any idea how long that would take? I actually need a downpipe as my dealer wants to charge me a ridiculous amount to fix my stocker

This downpipe will not bolt up to a stock manifold, it's designed to work with the Clear Image mid-length header. The DP pictured is about 12" shorter than the regular DP to make up for the extra length of the manifold/header. Also, it's setup to attach to the ball-socket joint that clear image uses, not a regular flange up top. Kinda have to buy everything or nothing, or at least plan on buying a new header from CIA (not expensive either BTW and great quality).

yeah if u buy this dp u have to buy the cia header. it's not expensive for the header and you will see noticeable gains with the header + this dp.
