just a holder that sits in the cup holder. it doesn't charge anything. it's a universal gadget holder. it can fit more than just the ipod

schweet i'll get back to you i've been thinking about making one of these.. how does it fit in the cup holders?

it sets in, then there's a lever that pushes the sides of the base out to hold snug
