yes im putting my 2.4 back to stock and this is the last thing i have left.its a jet performace stage 2 plug and play chip.i paid 345.00 shipped for it.im askin .i could tell a big difference as soon as it was put in.it can be installed in about 5 mins.heres some info

Just a warning. Lot of guys are gonna jump all over you and say getting a tune is better, especially in a 2.4

It is a great plug in if you want a removable tune. And don't want to spend all the money or effort to tune via HP Tuners. Everyone who has had it likes them, but if you come right out and claim 25hp without a dyno, then people are going to bash. If you have dyno definitely show it. Good luck

what year 2.4?

 

i have learned not to trust what the sites say. it could be crank hp you never know (i haven't looked at the site so it may say whp i d/k just saying) but i have a 2.4, but does it work with the 08 model cuz i was gonna do HPT but it's the one year for the 2.4 you can't tune.

 

Trifecta can tune an 08 as well as LS2Edit

what is ls2 edit? never heard of that. and trifecta is expensive for me. it would cost me 100 bucks fot HPT. all i have is an intake and i'm auto. 200+ for trifecta for just that is a little steep for me and than plus an additional 55 for every major tweek u make like when u add a new part or w/e.

I have an 06. Did you notice the gains. Tell us what you thought of the chip 4 door ss.

i really liked the chip.i could tell a good bit of difference.im a auto to.i know bw fore the chip i could drop it in low and from a dead stop hitt it and it would just go.after the chip it would spin from a dead stop.it revs alot quicker and shifts harder.youtube it there is a vid on there on 2.4 with jet chip

 

did you need to do anything else to run the stage II?

Premium fuel? thermostat?

 

i did put on a muffler and and 3 in filter and i run 93

 

For those curious about this. I have one on my 08 and at first didnt really feel much (also cleared all learned codes in the computer at the same time I installed it) But my family has 2 08 Cobalt sport autos so compaing back and forth is easy. And midrange with this does seem a good amount better and for us 2.4 auto guys the car no longer feels like it falls off at 60-70mph it keeps pulling. This is a good simple option no its not as good as a custom tune but it does well for what it is!
