diamond piston 4 sale

i have one of those sunday motors from GM my bore is bigger then it should be therefore the pistons from diamond wont work. they are made to fit 3.3852 bore and i have a 3.3879something. they are to small and i had a ton of blow by due to it. there is nothing wrong with the piston i just have to have some oversized ones made so i have no need for these. i will let them go for 500 shipped. i am cleaning them tonight so i will have to post pics later. or willing to trade for 60's and harness and $100 or set of cams.
thanks

yeah they are made for stock engines. for some reason my bore was just bigger from GM. but they will work on a stock motor. with a bore of 3.3852.

i had the pistons in for maybe a month so not any miles on them like 500 babied mile to try and get the rings to work. but i was messed up from the start b\c GM has a min. and a max. clearance they will allow to leave the production line. so i have a bigger bore then normal. so i had my block bored .20 over and have to get a new set of pistons made. its been a long month trying to figure out why i was having oil blow by. but it will all be fixed in a couple of week. the pistons will take week, week and a half then it will lbe good to go.

I dont think that is possible, you sure you bought the right ones? GM would just make engines and say they have to be in the "sweet spot", if that were so they would have to individualy make pistons for each different LSJ

I agree... they have a Go-No Go system for proper piston fitment. I'm going to bet that your was one that was on the high side, and missed the boat for the QC dept. Kind of a crappy deal, but it happens in manufacturing all the time.

they will not fit the 2.2 part #10103 so they are the right ones. the part number is on the piston itself. like i said just a GM sunday motor. 1 of 100 prob. but its whatever just live and learn. the next time i do a motor it will be miked before i do anything i dont care if they are factory replacements. just my luck i guess?
