no sir, pistons were pulled out of a good running motor, stock pistons were in that motor and 3 out of 4 pistons had cracked or exploded ringlands

I'm still interested in those pistons but my issue is, do they fit into another block like brand new? I'm assuming through hundreds of heat cycles in your engine, they have expanded and contracted to make themselves a perfect fit in the cylinders. Just wondering if its possible for them to not fit in my cylinders. That's how my stupid mind works! I've been burned several times on used parts, and this isn't something you can just reverse in an hour!

U realize the piston doesn't contact the cylinder wall right? The rings do so they will be just fine

Ya, I know how an engine works, but they still expand and contract so the tolerances can change. I didnt word my original post right. 1.5hrs of sleep in 36hrs > my mind. I need to think if I want to continue to mod the car.

Im telling you there is no chance of forged pistons expanding or contacting enough to not fit in the cylinder bore. It just doesn't happen.
