I've had people dick me around like this. One was a local guy who just about **** a brick when I showed up on his doorstep with 2 bigger guys than me standing behind me. Lol. I'm 260lbs and 6' haha the other two were a lot bigger.

The package just came and the UPS guy let me look it over. It WAS the lip in a box that was way to wide for it and was to short for it. The lip was crammed in and was moving around inside of the box with no packing materials whatsoever. After pulling out the lip you could see that it was bent from packing and that there were several scuffs on it, when he supposedly just repainted it. He had also said that it was missing a single mounting tab when EVERY single tab was broken off. It also looked like some sort of screws were used as a means of mounting as they were still drilled through the lip. Overall the lip was in pretty rough condition and packaged VERY badly. I simply put it back in the box and refused it, he will be getting it back in about a week.

Several people had asked him about the clips too:
"no just cut the strips for the clps to go in. and yes all the clips are intact but 1."

When I had asked him for more pictures he wouldn't take them:
"not at the moment. but im sure i can take some more if ppl really want them. im sure ppl know what a lip looks like from the front."

 

Atleast he sent it, but unfortunate that he lied about a lot of stuff and that you had to deal with all that. I've never personally had a bad transaction with anyone I've delt with over this forum or Jbody, but it does unfortunately happen. It's too bad people are like that.

 

I just refused the part and sent it back as I have already gotten my money back through my bank anyways.

 

Maybe it was my old lip... clips were broken and i had it attached with a screw on the passanger side right before the lip ended. I forgot who i sold it to when i parted out my sedan.

At least I have my money back now. Yeah, he had deleted the thread RIGHT after I paid him before he sold it again to Burnt. It is back up now with the link in my first post.
