I have tried for two weeks to reach this guy reguarding a claim for lost goods from usps. Hes suddenly disappeared. Anybody know of his whereabouts ?

I would like to get this issue resolved without any more escalation

Thanks in advance

I also know him. Real nice guy. Hasn't been on here much lately, but do you have other means of reaching him? He definitely isn't out to screw anyone over.

I purchased his GMR cams and paid through paypal imediatly he sent them out but tracking said they never left his city. that was two months ago.

Like i said i didnt want to escalate this matter but I cant get a hold of him and its a pretty good amount of money that i dont have and i dont have cams to show for it so i lost all the way around

If I was the seller and this happend to me i would pay back the money given to me and deal with the claim myself.

I'm the only one losing here and and wasnt at fault for any of it

If anybody can get a hold of him and tell him I need to here from him I would greatly appreciate it

Thanks in advance

I just texted him and told him about the thread. Sometimes he works different hours, but I'd think before long you will be hearing from him.

Yeah I'll never understand why people wait past 45 days without filing a claim. If it ends up being unnecessary, just drop it.

The seller is responsible for the parts till they arrive to you. If it gets lost during shipping that is on the seller to deal with the claim and if they did not purchase insurance that is on the seller as well, not the buyer's problem to deal with that...

I have sold a lot of things online and had multiple stuff either lost or damaged, I just refunded the full payment no questions asked as that's how it should be...

I hope the seller comes through and owns up to it. It is not the buyers problem to deal with that...

I expected good comments about him.I'm not bashing him I just wish he would take this a little more seriously. Hes not out the money I am. I wouldnt do a paypal claim because would mean i didnt trust the seller. Thank you sunburst for your input I'm glad someone else is on the same wavelength

I hope to hear from him soon I'm sure usps has a expiration date on claims as well and i know he put insurance on it.

Thank you for messaging him

The claim is for protection. It is a 45 day window and if a person doesnt have parts to you in the time then its a good path to follow. If they come through, great, then drop the claim and no harm no foul. If not, then at least you can get your money.

i had also texted him when i saw the thread. its a shitty situation for anyone to be in, and i'm really not what he should do. granted, you never recieved your parts so you deserve your money back, but he did do his part and ship them. it sucks when stuff gets lost in transit like this; actually the same thing happened when i bought my cams from someone one here, but luckily they found their way to me eventually.

i guess the crappy part is he didn't provide insurance on them because otherwise it would be easier to swing the money back your way.

A seller is supposed to make sure that the parts are received in the same condition that they left in and not leave the buyer hanging, I mean common 2-4 weeks okay but 2 months, holly molly. If he is doing something he should say , I mean common he was here earlier today and he knows about this thread...that's when he was here last, he should at least tell us his side of the story....

Yeah I dont understand why he hasnt tried to correct this. several of his friends have told him directly that his name is being bashed and he still does nothing. I would be embarrassed and try to make it right even if he had to pay payment id accept that.

USPS wont do anything for me because i wasnt the sender so im boned either way

I guess the only next option is to call his local authorities and report a felony.

These forums are for trusting people. I'm really upset about this situation I wont be so trusting next time.

Sucks that things went this way. I've dealt with him before and had no issues. I do know that he came into a money crunch but that doesn't make this ok.

Maybe he took the insurance money too and hoped you would forget about it....

Being in a tough financial situation does not make it okay to rob people....

People like that **** me off big times, and the sad part is that he is aware of all that is going on and won't do anything about it

Want to order him a pizza from every place within 25 miles? All to be delivered roughly 10 minutes apart from each other?
