This engine is completely disassembled for inspection. Head is included, just not pictured. All parts are bagged and tagged. Engine was pulled from a 2003 Cavalier under warranty due to a timing chain failure. Failure resulted in bent valves and a damaged piston. It is completely rebuildable. Some parts were disposed of during disassembly, including:

Girdle bolts
head bolts
bearings
rods
pistons and rings
head gasket
timing chain

For the most part, they are all parts that would normally be replaced during a rebuild, hence the reason they were disposed of.

I have a completely new set of OEM valves, springs, locks and seals from a factory new head that I will throw in if wanted to replace the damaged valves of the core.

Local pick up from Chicago land area only. Will not ship. Asking $500.

Also;
I have a set of GMPP pistons, brand new in the box. Asking $400. These pistons require the use of the LSJ rods. Would make a perfect addition to the above block build, giving a safe rotating assembly to over 400 HP.
