as many of u have been following....my car kept firing out the second spark plug into the boot and no helicoils or time certs are holding it.

dealer wants 3700 to get a new engine head in and going..

i cant afford that, nor do i think its wise to pay almost half of what my cars worth to get it running.

Does anyone know where id even start just to get the engine head myself for my car so i can start seeing where i could get it on cheaper? everyone i know is having a hard time finding one for my 2006 Chevy cobalt ss/sc 2.0L

 

I would check all your local junk yards and keep an eye on the forums... they pop up every so often and they are usually pritty cheap...

 

There is a fully built one for sale for 2400 "asking price but is obo"... I've seen it in person and it is clean as hell!!! His user name is stevesblack06... hope this helps a lil...

car -part . com would be a good source. I know a lot of people find stuff on that. Maybe you can get someone to ship one out to ya. I found at least 3 or 4 worth your time. All used but its better than buying new.
