I have a set of the L3 cobalt fenders and i am looking to sell them... i bought them and started to have them prepped professinally and they tried to fix a crack at the top and then called me and told me how much it would cost to do the fenders.... well im in need of money and cant afford to have the fenders painted and such because i am trying to get airride so i can install my body kit..and pay fopr school,gas,and such. Any good body shop should be able to fix this crack, this shop BSed me around and i ended up paying the shop $75 to do practically nothing but start to fix a hole.... these fenders are fiberglass and are the front fenders that are on Badgirls car.,,,they are not prepped fully yet, so you can have them painted whatever color... they come with the inserts too/// I am looking for $290 shipped... i got them for $310 or something.... i just cant afford to have them sitting here..pics will be up in a bit

EDIT: some of you pointed out that i was bashing these fenders in the other thread.... i found out my shop just didnt know how to prep them...Badg1rl from cobalt addiction said that they are fixable and should be fine... if they dont sell ill just end up sending them to her to fix... these are not crap, i was just pist because the shop told me they were when infact they didnt know what they were talking about

 

Ummm.... didn't you complain about these not being all fiberglass and being mostly gelcoat???? That's a shady sale in my book if these are the same ones you complained about.

ya well i foudn out like i said the shop is BSing me.... cobalt addiction(donna)/badg1rl, said they are possible to fix... if they dont sell im actually just ganna save the money and send them to C.A.

we work and have worked with a ton of parts people have picked up off of ebay etc. which were 10 times worse then anything i bet anyone has seen. we are not just a parts vendor, we do body work so we know just about anything is possible, take a look at my car for instance. that whole widebody kit was made by us. here is a navigator front end and fenders on a ford f150 we did


just a word to anyone who buys fiberglass products...if a body shop claims they cant help you...then they dont know what they are doing or are too lazy to do it.
go someplace else.

Yeah but I just thought that they weren't actually full fiberglass... mostly gelcoat. That's what I took from reading his other thread. That's the only reason I said anything here.
