F23 lsd

Just that. At 170,000 miles my stock trans syncros are starting to go, so soon the car is headed into the shop for a trans rebuild before this race season. While its all apart, id love to drop an LSD into it to help at trackdays. Anyone have one for sale for the F23? Let me know cost shipped to LA!

I've talked to Powell about this and I believe he has one he's testing in a SS that was converted to the F23. You're looking at about $300-500 for a low mileage transmission (possibly 4.41 gear set?) about $1200 for a LSD then $650 for the rebuild. So estimate about 2k for a LSD transmission and that's my goal to have over the summer.

4.41 sounds a little steep...
There's always finding a team green insert...
And if you find one let me know cause I want one too

Ive thought about going the inserts, but id rather go with a unit. looking to see if there are any gently used quaife units out there. I wish the SS LSD dropped right in

If you're cheap you can try the OBX off brand LSD's from what I've heard they work good but sometimes need to be either rebuilt from the start or make noise for the first thousand or so miles until it wears in.

That being said I'd only consider the Quaife for mine.

I forgot about OBX, they work well when you rebuild them before you put it in. I'd rather a Quiafe
