I have a manual transmission (F35) from my 2006 Cobalt SS for sale, $1200 OBO.
I installed an F40 transmission last year at ~ 75,000 miles and looking to sell the F35 I took out now. It has low miles because it was an R title and sat for years before being pulled from the junk yard and repaired. It had 35k miles when I bought it and I replaced the oil right away. It was always very smooth, shifted great, no problems and it's not been raced or abused. I have the clutch and flywheel for it too of course. It's not been cleaned up so you can see it as it was removed. I had a local shop do the swap and they're familiar with the car and would probably vouch for how it ran when removed, though I haven't asked them yet.
I'm in the Allentown, PA area and would prefer a local buyer and you can contact me here or send me a PM. Photo was just taken for this post (Aug. '22).
I left that open to see if there might be any interest and offers. I think with the LSD, it's worth in the low 1000 range but I'm willing to talk. Thanks.
Hey just a heads up. You have to decide a price in the first post and also will need your name and date on something physical in the photo on the first post or this thread will be locked. Classified rules man, https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/part...-parts-274815/
It can be a base price and obo or a firm price, it just has to be something. Feelers and interest posts are a big nono
Hi Kolt. I don't see a way to change the title of the thread to include "For Sale". but I did add the additional info per your request. Up to you, feel free to add FS to the title or lock.
The mods can change the title if they notice it fairly easy without locking the thread but they will lock it if you dont change the photo. It just needs a piece of paper with your username and date on it. Everything else looks good.
oh, I get it ..... the paper in the pic is a method of authentication. Gotcha... It's easy to change a picture like that though. I added a nice, wrinkled piece of paper for added security. lol
Man that looks rough!!! Lol... is it really in good shape and low mileage? I have an issue with my tranny and parts could be an issue so looking for a possible replacement in the meantime. Then, perhaps I could find someone to build one and make it stronger... these cars really need a decent transmission solution. I believe it's my output shaft bearing/s but not 100% sure.. trans still shifts fine etc. but gets noisier with speed and grinds just turning the wheel by hand on jackstands... something is fubar, probably too much power. I'm in Canada though, but would pay for shipping... Pm me and let's talk price if you're willing to ship
Thanks!
