Looking for a pair of FE5 front struts. Finally gonna build my Koni struts.

Are the FE5s the SS/SC or TC. I am SC

 

FE5 is both SS/SC and TC

 

I'm gonna need some fe5 struts/shocks as well when I get lowww in 1-2 months!

 

I have a used set of struts and rear shocks took off at 60k but one if the struts has a broken spring don't know if thatll help tho lol make offer if interested

 

I'd want some pics first, I don't need the springs or the rear shocks.

Can you use a base car's struts since you're replacing the guts anyway?

 

I don't think so although I would love an expert to weigh in on that.

i dont see why not you would just need to make sure you cut at the right dimension. it will be different for the fe1 or fe3 since they are different heights. idk if anyone has tried thou i bought an extra fe5 for it

 

I don't believe Fe1 and Fe3 have the same setup when it comes to the Endlinks I don't think it would work.

 

Have you found the fe5's yet? I wonder what's an estimate price for them since I'll be needing them soon.

You can get them new for around 85 bucks a piece at gmpartsdirect (before their exorbitant shipping cost)
