FEELER! Fully Build Long Block

Well guys, my other engine demod thread got way to cluttered so heres a new one dedicated to just the engine. None of these items have more than 2000 miles on them, Most parts are barely broken in. Im fairly sure I can sell the head super quickly but gauging interest in the block might be a different story. If both the head and the block are spoken for Ill seprate them but untill then they stay together as a complete assembly. Id also consider parting the block but again, only if everythign else is spoken for. I WILL NOT part out the head, it will stay together for sure. All machine work and assembly was done by Jim Polerek Engines (a local shop near me.) I have kept most if not all of the recipts for the parts and the recipts and info on the machine work as well.

The head has just been taken apart, cleaned, inspected and reassembled and is in fantastic condish. ready to bolt on and RIP! EDIT: i just recieved the block back today and its ready to go aswell. it was inspected, resurfaced and cleaned
If this gets sold as a complete Long Block a new set of head studs and a head gasket of your choice will be bought by me or i can just knock off $200 from the total. however i do reccomend using a head gasket thicker than stock due to the higher CR Also, the timing cover is off so the engine can be propely times by whomever decided to buy it. a new timing cover gasket will be needed as well... I can take pics of anything upon request. Shipping will prob be an issue so a pickup would be best but it thats not at all possible we can work something out at the time of sale? maybe split shipping costs or something?

Ill Start this off at $4900 for the complete Long block
Just the head $2500
Just the bottom end $3000

To Build a SIMILAR engine from ZZP would cost you 6-7 grand not to mention tax and shipping plus a clutch and flywheel on top of that. this work is already done and everything will be in perfect working condish. Plus all the expensive machine work is already done.

Cammed and Race ported/ Build head:
-ZZP Stg. 3 COMP Camshafts
-Supertech 78lb Dual Valve Springs/Retainers/Spring seats
-Supertech Valves/Keepers, Black Nitride coated, 0.5 Oversized
-5 Angle Valve Job
-Bates Valve Guides and Stem Seals
-GM lash adjusters
-Modified Roller Rockers.

Built Block
-Fully Balanced to 10k rpms
-Darton M.I.D. Sleeved Block
-Diamond 10.5:1 CR pistons
-Lightened, balanced, micropolished and knife edged crank
-Balanced LSJ Connecting Rods
-Balance Shaft Deletes
-ARP Rod Bolts
-GM Main Studs
-Celvit Main and Rod Bearings

I also have a hand ported m62 for $420 shipped pics taken on request.

You haven't seen this one yet. Worth 6500 all day long

Custom carmelized two tone paint. I can't even tell you the color maroonish/organge/red. Over a grand in paint alone. 9500 miles, velocity stacks, two brand new tires on chrome wheels, stainless brake lines, shorty pazzo levers, gold chain, quick adjust chain tensioners, one tooth down in front. I just ordered lowering links a drag strap and 3 up sprocket in the rear. It went 9.55 last week at 132 with me on it. Only have 5 passes on it and I was right with the stock 1000's all day. Would have been lower tens if i could come out without carrying the front tire

I can send pics if you're really interested. But i'm firm on the price it WILL go for 6500 this spring

it will handle 600+ ONLY because the factory LSJ rods are the weak spot of the build. lsj rods are rated for 150hp a piece. if one were to change the rods it will be good for whatever you can throw at it...

$500 would just be the price for adding it on as a package... im pretty sure i paid over a grand for the clutch and flywheel brand new. i havent really come up with a price if i sold it seperate. make me a resonable offer i suppose??
