This is pretty funny. I have nothing against the seller but I want to tell people that are thinking of buying one to please wait until next year when all games are made 100% PS3 instead of half assing it. Anything over 600 dollars is just ridiculous. Ive played Resistance: Fall of Man and thought it was a good game but if your looking to impress your friends with graphics it just isnt there such as Gears of War or COD3. Just my 2 cents.

I think it's funny that people are willing to pay this much money for a system that doesn't even work right out of the box. Read the newspaper and tell me that thing is worth $600. Have to download an updated version of the running system first thing otherwise it has problems reading disks and won't log onto the web. Good product there!

I'm not flaming you at all because honestly it's a quick way to make some money. I am just disappointed in the american society as a whole. My christmas gifts never add up to more than $300-$400 and you know what, I am happy. It's people that buy this kind of stuff for their kids, that end up in court with the kids taking the parents for every penny they are worth because the child has received every thing they want as a child and refuse to work for a living.

I will end up with an xbox 360 next week and only pay $129.99 for it. People need to learn to have some damn Patience!

Im in Canada and its f*ing freezing. I waited infront of Future Shop from 10pm Wednesday, until 8am Friday. I got about 1 hour of sleep total within that time just because of bad weather and being uncomfortable. I was awake for 47 hours (I worked that day so I was up at 8am)...Im keeping the system even though I know I could sell it for at least triple what I payed for it. Im not an insane, give-up-my-life, gamer...I have two good jobs, a loving girlfriend who supported me through this long wait, loving family, supportive friends and a generally good life. I wanted this system because I know its a fantastic machine... some people would give an arm and leg for this thing, but all they ever really needed to give was their time.

 

i dont see what all the fuss is about these game systems coming out... i cant justify a parent who is paying $700+ for a game system that chances are there kids wont play with 2 months later. why nopt wait the 3 months and let prices drop by 30%!

i mean people have already been shot over one of these damn things!! not to mention countless armed robberies... i just dont understand whats so amazing about these that you must shoot someone or rob a store to have one..

They showed one on the news here that went for $30,000!! Are you ****** kidding me! You could buy a new SS/SC for that and have money for Stage 2, intake, full exhaust as well as other mods, and then buy one after the feeding frenzy dies down a bit.

People say "How can you take advantage of people like that?" But remember, its ONLY a video game. You aren't buying a 50 cent can of soup and reselling it to them for 10 bucks. A game console doesn't keep the kids from getting sick.

 

people are smart for doing this.... they can make lots of money.....because people WILL pay 2000-5000+ for the PS3....I think they are crazy but thats JMO.
