you can run the cams on stock valvetrain altho it will not be recommended to rev over 7000 rpms and you should upgrade the vavlesprings to run up to 7500 but if you can make power over that it will be time for neutral balance shafts

these would tech work in any 2.2 though wouldnt they??? they would just have a sensor in it that an 05-06 wouldnt use...

i think they may be too long for 05-06 cuz the exhaust cam i think is same length as the intake. right silent?

the 06-05 cams do not fit into an 07 head

well the exhaust side is fine in all years...but the intake side from an 05-06 will not fit into the 07 its too long...the 07 intake cam is shorter and it comes with the sensor
