the male end was that way when i got it, which is why i gave u that connector in the box to put over top of it instead of using the stock hose, it works fine, your car should even run without that..and the adapter plate was in the box as well.

hahah yeah i wrap **** up than stuff the box lol...but you can still repair that manifold, sucks but its fixable, u need a dril and tap kit to tap a new brass fitting in there, npt to barb, than run a regualr hose from that to the evap solenoid;

i think the point is that you failed to mention this issues and then you say that shipment must have did the damage...
