I have for sale my head ( of the car) and the short block.
The head has been rectified So its in good shape.
The short block was on my car. But the mechanics said that it had no compression.
So I bought a new one, but they said the same thing. But turns out there were 2
connetions that were swapped so that was the reason of no compression.
So Im pretty sure that the short block is OK. It has 17K miles.
I wanted to make the 300HP motor following the LSJ build book. Its a great project.
But I am unemployed so I need CASH!
Give me the best offer. !!!
I am looking to get 600 for both.
I need money!!

When you had the head off the car you must have been able to see the cyinder walls. Was there any scoring or gouges in the sleeves?
What size pulley where you running when you lost compression?

The sleeves and the cylinder walls were in great condition.
I never ran this short block. Like I said, I had a wrecked one, put it with my head and they said it was no good. It only had 17K miles on the wrecked one. There was no damage to the block so thats why I believe there should be no reason on not having compression.

i just primarily want block
crank n heads. pretty much evrything
will be replaced. this for my tvs build
my other eng will prolly sit in corner
with preservatives so the piston rings dont
gouge the sleaves. but ya get back at me.
