Just wondering, is this something thats works as a constant? do you have to turn it on, push a button to release or what? and what kind of hp would it give u when in use?

Its more of a cooling system vs. added horsepower. I use window washer fluid not the boost solutions with the higher meth contents which may give more HP. For those of you who want to see the system, it is the exact same trunk mounted system that is sold on the coolingmist web site w/ the stainless braided tubing. Also, there was a good "how to" with lots of pics posted on here at https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=60562.

yes, gallon or gallon & 1/2. I've refilled it a total of three times now since early July. Lasts a while unless you hit it hard a lot.

does this run constantly or does it run by switch....

 

It is connected by a boost switch that comes off the boost line on the intake manifold. Power is switchable from the fuse. the only on/off capability would be to unplug the power from the pump. You could always put a switch in line if you wanted to.

 

if it runs consistantly without unplugging it is that a promblem..
and does it activate at certain boost level?

It activates at 12psi and is adjustable. No it does not run continuously unless activated at the set boost level. It helps cool the intake + if you do by the boost juice from Snow Performance, it is supposed to raise the octane level and indeed increase HP. I never ordered the boost juice though.

never used it at the track. this is basically why I am selling it. its a bit out of my league. I don't have access to a tuner or good monitoring capabilities. I figure someone else can get a lot better use out of it. I already have a H/E and dual pass.

did you ever get a chance to log the car under boost and see the IAT's?

 

No I didn't. that's basically why I am selling it. This unit definitely has its benefits, but I lack the expertise and monitoring to make it right. I little beyond my abilities.
