2.0 and 2.2 connecting rod comparison
2.0L left, 2.2L right, much different wrist pin diameter.

2.0L bottom, 2.2L top, actual length is longer but it is much beefier.

2.0L front, 2.2L back, diameter of the holes is different, but center to center if held together is the same measurement.

2.0L top, 2.2L bottom, bearing is the same size for both.

Thank you for that comparison. I wonder if he can find out whom he spoke with at TTR because I know WE would have been upset as well if we decided to go through with the build and they ended up not working or ******* something up.
I apologize for any confusion. I only passed a long information that we were told.

yea the rods are exactly identical excluding the piston pin diameter. if the pistons yo have are for a 2.2 then the whole set up would work since the bores are the same. the only difference bottom end ont he engines is piston pin diameter and crank stroke. so maybe ttr sent you 2.2 rods and pistons and you would not have had any problems except increased bearing speed on the wristpin which who gives a **** in a build like this. check pin diameter on the pistons and rods the rod inside diameter should be .907 and the pin outside diameter should be .906
I am the ONLY one who takes care of the Ecotec side. I know for a fact we have never stated 2.2L rods fit in the 2.0L...
What was your order number which you ordered these rods/pistons from us?

Ok Im kind of confused now, I must have misunderstood my BF before. He JUST told me they are in fact 2.0 rods.
I fail.
I guess he called TTR to ask if they were interchangeable since 2.0 rods aren't (or weren't) listed on site, but you guys sent him 2.0 Eagle rods.
I told him to post his for-sale stuff himself... Im an 2.2 OHV girl (Im new to Ecos now that im taking his SS/SC)

That doesn't make sence then. Im confused now, lol. I know he spoke with someone before odering. He thinks that he bought 2.0 rods..?
He ordered eagle rods with ceramic coated diamond pistons (10.5 comp).
Thanks for looking into it Aaron, I appreciate it. I'd like to straighten this out. I don't want to sell someone something that I am incorrect about. Doesnt make sence that he would have ordered 2.2 ones if he was told they were 2.0 ones. (I thought someone clarified that 2.2 ones would work but he said he was told they were 2.0 ones).
We have veneers we can measure them. What are the exact differences for the wrist pin diameter between the two, anyone know?

Again, the ONLY ones we sell/carry are the 2.2L eagle brand rods. We have never stated they fit on the 2.0L. Only way to get a set of 2.0L rods is having a custom set made for $600-1000. I dont think eagle has ever made a custom 2.0L rod.
The head studs are the same on the 2.2/2.0, along with the valves. Head gasket, rods, pistons, crank, are all different between the 2.2/2.0L
He has a set of 2.2L rods, looking at the order...
.906" is the diameter of the 2.0L rod/piston bearing. The 2.2L rod is smaller... (.8XX")
Just trying to let you know what you have, so you dont sell a product for an application not designed for it...
