FS: Passenger Seat Airbag Weight Sensor Components (for Recaros)
Just bought a passenger seat out of a wrecked '06 Cobalt for $80 hoping that I could use the passenger airbag sensor for my Recaro seat in my Redline, but it isn't gonna work. The sensors/wiring between the Ion & Cobalt are totally different.
This sensor is standard in all the '06 & '07 Cobalts (except ones with Recaros).
So if you're thinking about adding Recaros and you don't wanna take the stock seat apart, you just put this on the Recaro seat pan (under the foam cushion) & run the wires & it'll plug into your harness in the car and the airbag will function correctly.
***You're gonna need this/want this if you are swapping Recaros into a car that has the airbag sensor on the dash!! Because the Recaros don't come with the sensor in the seat!!***
Only asking $25 for it.
The seatbelt buckle is cracked, but you can reuse your stock one....just 1 Torx bolt holds it on.

ALL of the screws/brackets are included to attach it to the seat pan. All of the holes are already there in your seat pan & don't need to be drilled.
The frayed/loose wires on the harness is the end of the harness out of the donor car (they cut it). It won't have to be used in your '06-07 Cobalt (since that harness is in the car already) but I'll include it

Just add this to the Recaro seat pan & the airbag will work properly (like the factory seat)!!
