Curious about the HID's...do they plug right in to our harness? I noticed the site is for BMW's, but the HID kits are for many different bulb types...that's why I ask...I know you have hi/lo 9007 as stated on the box and receipt, but just curious...don't know a whole lot about them. Would any wiring be required? Also, would they look OK in stock housings or would projectors really be the only way to go about it (wouldn't want to blind people or have them look like crap)? One last thing, with 55watt would there be any chance of melting anything in the stock housings?

Thanks.

yes, the bulbs plug in to the stock harness. instead of plugging a bulb directly into the harness, the stock harness would plug into an adapter, connect to the ballast, and then a new cable would come out of the ballast with the new harness for the hid bulbs. it's pretty much remove your headlight housings, plug everything, tuck the wires away/mount the ballast somewhere, and put the headlights back on. i have seen HID in stock cobalt housings, and they look good, that's why i bought them. not as slick as aftermarket projectors and such, but they still look nice. plus...cobalt headlights dont have as much glare as other cars with HID kits. because the HID bulbs will be brighter, you might want to aim the beam down a tad, but people shouldn't have a big problem in oncoming traffic. i wouldn't worry about melting anything either. they do burn hotter, but the inside of the headlight housing is pretty well shielded, and they guy at DDM tuning guaranteed me i would have ZERO issues using these in the stock housings.
