FS: Stock '09 Cobalt SS radio

This came out of my car at 19,000 miles when I replaced my radio with a factory radio that has the USB port. I'm not sure if there is a huge demand for these or not but let's start out with $100 shipped OBO?

I hope you have better luck with your dealership than I did with mine. I was given the "we wouldn't know until we installed it" line. I actually found my answer somewhere on these forums as to whether the stock Cobalt head unit would work in my car or not. As for the pictures...I love my D3100 lol

Absolutely nothing. Popped the old one in and just plugged the new one in and everything worked. I used part # 20789372 from replacementradios.com if that helps. The only downside is since this head unit has an amp built in it is driving the external amps that came with the SS and that makes my turn signals and door chimes really loud. I'm a little worried about burning the amp up but I don't blast it super crazy or anything and I figure since I'm still under warranty I'll just get it covered anyway if that happens. I am in the process of trying to find a solution to that issue...if I find it I'll be sure to make a writeup for it.

Oh damn, i dont want REALY loud chimes. I was told you had to lock the new radio to your VIN to have it work properly.

I may have exaggerated a bit. I can take a vid and post it up later...it's noticeable but not unbearable or anything. I heard that about the VIN but I assume that is only with used head units. Since this had never been installed in a vehicle before it was just plug and play.
