I have a set of HHR 1LT 16" alloys with 216-55-16 tires. They are the stock set from the HHR. They are almost exactly the same diameter as the stock 18's and will affect the spedo by 0.7 mph. I know I got a good deal on those....but they are on my wife's HHR now after her little accident (met a gaurdrail on I69 after someone merged into her lane and clipped the rear quarter panel) and the dealer wanted $440 for just one wheel (OEM service parts and needed 3 of them). So I picked up another set online, but there were no deals as sweet as that one this time.

No...I bought a 2nd set of these wheels for my winter setup after my original winter setup replaced hers. And anyways, why are you trying to call me out for no reason??? Nothing really better to do than try to bust someone's ***** for the childish satisfaction??? Try to find a set of OEM wheels with virtually brand new tires on them that does not effect the speedo calibration for that price. You'd be lucky to get a set of steelies with some no name brand tires for that much. I was lucky the first time that I searched for them and got the deal that I did, but the 2nd time around the deal was not there. So yeah, I sold them already and the deal is done.

 

Um... let's relax for a minute here. I'm not calling you out. I was thinking of making you an offer... that's why I was asking questions. I misunderstood your post about your wife's wheels. So before you go and start with insults, calm down and stop jumping to conclusions. I said in the second post that I was just kidding around because Jonel posted a link to a previous post of yours. I never insulted you or called you names like you just did to me.

And for the record, I've seen sets of my exact wheels (which would mean no effect on the speedo/tach whatsoever) for the same price, and that included almost brand new all-season tires. Sue me for trying to find out if these wheels were damaged before making an offer...

 

Sorry man, been a long day of dealing with some dumb a$$ people at work and a sick baby...guess I kinda took it out on you for no real reason (except the owned comment )...my bad (no sarcasm intended). I ended up selling them to someone locally who will come pick them up for the price I was looking for. As far as the wheels on your ride, these will be the exact size to match your 17's (lots of research done before on the HHR when it was mine). They are about 1/4" difference in overall diameter from the SS/SC wheels, that was the speedo adjustment I was talking about. So anyway, my bad...I really hate the crap talking on the forums and i guess I was just a culprit of sorts

Wow, that sucks I was really interested in these. I prolly would have gone in a bid a little higher. That is okay though.
