I'm looking for a GoPro camera, preferable the motorsports one with the car mounts. I figured I would post this up here to see if anyone was selling one. I'd like to pick one up within the next week so if I can't find a good used one I will just buy a new one since they aren't that expensive. Let me know what you have either by posting it here or pm me. Pics would be helpful.

I actually just bought a GoPro today from BestBuy. I got mine in the store since I didn't feel like waiting for shipping. Got the suction cup mount, and also an adaptor to make it work with any tripod.

Check out Bestbuy.com if you end up getting a new one. They have some GoPro packages that rival the official GoPro ones, since they come with an 8GB SD card.

You didn't say what version you were looking for. I have the 1080 version and love it (sorry, not selling) but I've seen some vids from the 960 that look okay but stay away from the standard def. Keep in mind too that only the 1080 works with the add-ons like the LCD bakpac (also have and is sooo worth it, no more guessing if what your shot will look like) and the battery pack (you can run through a battery pretty quickly). They also have the 3D kit out too which only works with the 1080.

 

Yeah I was looking for the HD 1080 version. I don't think they even sell the standard def one, probably for a good reason . How much did your setup run you?

 

I forget how much it cost, it was a couple years ago now and from a motorsports safety gear online store in the states. I bought all the add-ons right from GoPro though. Best Buy and FutureShop up here in Canada did not carry any GoPro stuff until just recently.
