UMM lol hey I have that grill its not held on with tape.the tape goes under so that the clips do not rub.really though I will never remove the grill what I put on the car stays on the car.So I dont really care if it rubs the clear.I know alot of people strip them but around here a modded car sells quicker then a stock one and for a little more money.not much but enough for me to get back as much as stripping and selling.oh also as far as the clear goes on our cars lol you can rub it off a stock paint job washing it.

Hope everyone knows that if you buy the two SS / TC grill pieces separtely it is 7 dollars cheaper lol

They sell them powdercoated black. Also polished and brushed.

except its not since the "kit" comes with the retainers which are $15.
