There's a lot of small things they could have did like this lol. I like how they cover the wiring for my retros.

I have my wires pretty well hidden but just to cover things up would be nice

 

22 gauge Sheet metal and a pair of sheet metal shears boom, You have your own set lol.

If Ecaulk isn't doing this, I sure could or anyone could really lol

 

The thing is getting to fit nicely

 

Start big and trim as needed to get it to fit nicely.

 

I think your over thinking it to be honest.

Get a piece of cardboard trace it out and cut it down to the style/stencil you want.

Put the stencil on a piece of sheet metal and trace it out.

Cut the tracing out from the sheet metal with a pair of shears.

File down the edges and paint.

Or the even easier option.

1: Wait a while until Jesse eventually makes some from carbon.

2: Buy those.

3: profit.
