Wanted HID kit for projectors
HID kit for projectors
I am looking for a HID kit that will replace both the high and low beam. To go into a projector housing. I was looking on ebay and all I could find was just low beam kits.
hey man. there are alot of kits out there like that. but ill warn you. the high and low beam hid's reallyyy blow. there is like a tiny ass bulb next to the big hid bulb which kindof looks like a 194 sized bulb and that is basically your high beam. its not worth it. now, idk if you have only one spot in you projectors and thats why you want both hig and low in one. but i have the depo projectors and i have 5000k hids from hidpalace.com and there extremely bright. and i have just the stockk high beams. but the thing is i dont even use my high beams like ever. the hids are brighter than my highs. the highs just shine alittle farther.
bottom line, i dont recomend it but if you really want them im pretty sure like any hid website has them available as an option. i wouldnt go ebay with your hids. hids are fragile like any other bulb, so i dont want random ebay jobbers handling them.
idk. im picky haha. but thats just my opinion. dont hold me to it or make a decision based on what i said. wait a little and youll have people making fun of me and having different opinions and maybe they make a really good high low kit that idk about.
so wait it wait man. best of luck and hope you get it the way youw ant it.

Yeah. I thought I might have to do separate kits.
I'm taking about the high and low beams being separate. Not both in one.
There is a guy on here that has what I want for $320. But I am trying to see if I could get the stuff and so it my self so I know everything is brand new.
I was just going to get some depo's for modern performance. And now I want HID. My commute from work is a 40 min drive up a mountain in the woods and is almost all twists turns. And those damn deer are always trying to play dodge ball with my car.

hhaha well. i definitely recomend hidpalace.com and all the cobalt owners on here seem to like buyhids.com or something like that. im sure itll pop up on here eventually.
i had bought a 6000k kit from a website where the hids where 80 dollars instead of 90. me trying to save 10 dollars. anyways.. they were cheap as ****. they blew after a month and a half and they werent bright at all! so my brother originally told me hidpalace and i didnt listen. this time i did. now i have the 5000k hids from them and holy ****. theyre amazing. best 90 dollars i ever spent. kindof a pain in the ass to install but once it was done it was so worth it. and that website is basically plug and play. youll run into some trouble with the depos but easy fixes.
our cars are perfect for placing the ballasts to. but again, hidpalace.com was amazing for my low beams. but like i said. hids in the high beam spot isnt a good idea. everytime you turn on your highs youll be driving for like 5 seconds with like real dim lights while they warm up. then a car comes and you turn your low beams on and then you have to wait for those to warm up. having hids for you brights is a huge pain in the ass.
i would just stay with the low beam hids and leave the high beams. thats your best bet. but again. thats my opinion.

it depends on the headlight assembly you get. the depos take h7 bulbs. idk about the retrofits. i dont like the way those look tho and as far as them out performing the depos i have no idea because ive never seen the retrofits in person. but i love my depos. they do he job =]. and if you can get lows to stay on with the highs then that would be great. i wish i did that. im pretty sure you have to do some weird wire splicing and **** but its possible. the depos dont do that the way the come out of the box. so if your gonna do that read into it. ha cause idk how,
