Make sure they have the key/account for it. I bought one on here and I'm still jumping through hoops and I bought it in Jan I think, or even before. Pain in the ass.

if that person still got the application installed on their computer they can pull it up from there, also also you can message HP tuners and give them the s/n off the tuner it self they might be able to get you key if that person ever registered for an account on Hptuners.com
