For Sale Ingalls 'Stiffy' Torque Damper
Ingalls 'Stiffy' Torque Damper
I have a gently used Ingalls Torque Damper for sale. 100% fully functional, just decided to go with a different setup. I am asking $50 + shipping, OBO. Lowered the price big time since I had so many views..

From ZZP:
"The Stiffy™ Adjustable Engine Torque Damper is engineered to reduce deflection under hard acceleration and cornering for improved performance and power to weight transfer. Deflection in the motor mounts, as with the chassis and suspension, is a formidable enemy in power and weight transfer, robbing valuable horsepower and control.
The innovative, built-in damper eliminates the huge amounts of "torque shock" that result from wheel-hop and once installed; transfers more power to the road and improves acceleration, shifting, overall control and balance.
The adjustable feature allows the assembly to be tuned and pre-loaded for racing and street applications."

Depends on how you adjust it. It adjusts from 15mm (softest) - 10mm (stiffest). I settled it in around 12mm to get the best balance between comfort and performance.
I had minimal vibrations, but around 1100-1200 rpms when engaging the clutch.
Even at 15mm, at the softest setting, it was trully noticeable how much better the car drove.
