Mine must be special because it doesn't chatter at all. just trickier to launch.

Damn I need a new clutch but idk if I wanna deal the chattering noises either. Are the noises common for the ky clutches?

 

From what I've read it's hit or miss on these KY clutches. I just didn't like it at all..

FWIW, I have the KY stage 3 in my HHR SS and like it. It does chatter a bit when easing into it at low rpm's- probably due to its six puck style and stiffer pressure plate springs. I just rev it a little more than normal and adjust my driving style and I don't have any issues. If you're going for more power, you need a stronger clutch to take the abuse. I would recommend the KY.
