L61 head with cams and more

L61 head just got back from machine shop. It has a set of comp cams xtreme energy cams xe246thr-13, brand new rockers from zzp, has a set of BLE solid lifters that are shimmed to spec and ready to go, also has a set of supertech dual spring valve springs with titanium retainers and new valve seals with that kit . I was going to use this on my 2010 cobalt but we overlooked the fact of the cam sensors not being able to be installed that my 2.2 lap has. Lots of money invested anyone interested shoot me an offer.

yes they will work if its hydraulic cam to solid lifter but not if its solid cam to hydraulic lifter if that makes any sense that's what I was told. that was our idea to delete the vvt but also the coils don't fit and I didn't want it to be cobbled together

I dont think youre right. That setup will ruin the cam lobes

the lash is something like .004 its tight for a reason to run this setup past 8k. I doubt ble would make a lifter that you couldn't use and I don't believe they make a solid cam for a ecotec possibly custom one? and theres a double valve spring to keep it tight and not float.

everything ive ever read says itll work. a solid lifter can be run on a hydraulic cam, however the lobe profile isnt optimized for it. both hydraulic and solid lifter/lash adjuster cams can use cast cams.

Just curious why are u so worried about this setup and me selling it? My machine shop I use has done it before and wouldn't have set it up for me if it wouldn't work

Trust me I don't Wana get rid of this setup but the heads are so different.and it's easier to buy right parts for my original head. And he's right its no optimized but it's about being able to spin the hell outa that 2.2 lol.

Any idea on a ballpark figure? I really hate doing the lowball/highball thing. Call me lazy but I usually prefer to hear what someone wants for their parts and if I think it's right I'll bite otherwise I'll move on.
