Not to side bust but post #10 shows that the lnf turbo parts won't fit the 2.4l or 2.2l sorry again but I don't want to see anybody spend 1500 for something that won't work
Worth a look.

Order an LNF exhaust gasket, they are like $10. use the LNF gasket and match it up to a NON LNF header/manifold or head. You should see it lines up just fine and you can use what you got, if it doesnt your only out $10 and then youll know yourself instead of relying on heresay from threads here where they arent even talking about what yu actually want to do. Only issue you may have is if youve got SAI on your car.

vulcan turbo makes a manifold or does custom, it doesnt really matter who makes it custom is never cheap unless your making it your self.

ok after a little digging through gm part numbers... here is what i found.

2009 2.0
and
2009 2.2 exhaust manifold gasket part numbers ARE THE SAME. so with that said. they have to be a direct swap for the pn to be the same... right?

oh and the pn for the solstice and sky are different... so sounds like the pontiac and saturn use different heads and manifolds

Couldn't hurt to verify by getting the LNF exhaust manifold gasket and just test fitting. Cheap way to double check everything!

BTW, good luck. I'm very curious to see how this plays out!

I did a bit more digging for you and it seems as if the exhaust manifold is the same between the Sky/Solstice/Cobalt LNF. It comes back as this part number, 12602397. So if the manifolds are all the same, that could mean it might not fit.

Just posting some info I found for you.

haha i actually just seen that. if you get on gmpd.com and look up the manifold gaskets and look at the pics... the bolt patterns are different between the ss/tc and the solstice/gxp damn this is confusing. o dont forget to look at the gasket part numbers for the 09 2.2 and 2.0

Where does it list part numbers on gmpartsdirect.com?

Exhaust manifold gasket part numbers.

L61(NF4,NT7,NU1) - 12589453
LE5 - 12589453

L61(NU3) - 90537740

LNF(MU3) - 12599787

LSJ - 09230949

I unfortunately have no way to find the LAP exhaust manifold gasket part number.
