i need a lower ss grill..anyone?

 

why do you NEED one? pretty much no one has them on anymore. gives better air flow to the intercooler

 

I've never taken my lower grill off. My intercooler thanks me daily.

 

It doesn't improve anything. If there are all these people taking them off then why haven't they listed them for sale or posted here?

 

I have the sc lower grille

 

i need it to fill the gap..looks bad

 

gm dealer has them for about 120$ with clips!!

 

that is ridiculous....

I have one but it has like one or two broken clips.

 

If I was you I would get one from ebay. They are about $23 shipped new.

any difference between these two grills? will they both fit?

 

The 1st one is wrong that ones for the non ss the sc fins ar slanted down

 

doesnt matter if slanted up or down..just want something that will fit in the gap
i prefer the second one, the honey comb looking one if it fits

 

i think the first one wont fit. its smaller than the actual ss grill

 

The reason people take them off isn't for better airflow, it's for the 'look at me, my car is turbocharged' factor. If it did impact airflow, they probably wouldn't be there.

 

Having something in front of it is gonna impact airflow. Why would gm care about that on a stock cobalt? Same reason they have an air box and not an actual CAI or SRI.

Ok that second grille isn't even for the front. That is the piece that goes on the rear lip. And also the ss/sc did not come with a lower grille from the factory.
