Wanted LS4 tb and adapter plate!
LS4 tb and adapter plate!
Looking for a perfect condition LS4 tb, adapter plate and ls4 - 3" CAI coupler. im planning on buying it from zzp, but figured i would check and see if anyone had bought the set up then decided they didnt want it anymore.
I'm removing mine this weekend for the last time, tuning is simply too unpredictable. Just when you think you've got it dialed in, next thing you know high idle comes back.
ZZP LS4 machine milled
ZZP Adapter plate
Silicon tapered coupler
4 hex head bolts
Bought in April of this year, yours for $150 shipped. Pics on Saturday if you need em.

Although, I may be interested in trading my LS4 for the OP's stock tb. Only reason I went to the LS4 was because it was cheaper than a stock tb for our cars and mine went out.

That doesn't really give me any information.... By well documented, do you have links you can PM me? Mine is a lil rough to idle smooth until warmed up, but that's because of my injectors being 80's and not running E85 anymore on an M62 lol
I, and others have experienced a sort of 'cruise control' pulling sensation well after letting off throttle. Idle stays higher than if an lsj tb is being used during deceleration. It gets very annoying, and playing with the scalar, from 3688 to 5500 provides only temporary relief. I've gone a month at a time with zero issues, then wham, high idle.
Here is me, sounding just like you 4 months ago: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/tuni...ng-fun-248559/
And my 'making a list' thread in the 2.4l section has another who added timing down low to compensate for LS4 issues.

Funny thing tho is other's I've tuned for it have never mentioned issues over the past three years and I've gotten the car to drive nearly as smooth as stock. Just warm up is an issue. Oh well. My bad for thread jacking
i have an extremely high tolerance for such things. my 10 second chevelle tried to kill me every time i drove her and i miss her like id miss a finger if it were cut off my hand. i just hope shes putting a smile on someones face right now and not a trophy in some collectors garage.
