No you don't need any shims to run these cams. It wouldn't be a bad I deal to upgrade your springs and retainers while everythings apart thou. No they will not work in and lnf to that of my knowledge.

I would reccommend being retuned and or data logged to make sure but prob need a tune. I know a of a traveling tuner who does great work if you need a tune.

How are these on a LSJ with the blower? If you have a really good tuner about how much power can you expect?

 

They would be ok on an LSJ with a blower. As for gains it's really hard to say. It really depends on whats done to the car. How well your motor can move the air. Exmple ported blower, intake 3", ported head, ext ext. On a stock or mild modded LSJ with a good tuner I'd guess 10-15hp. More if say you had a good tuner, ported head and 3"exhaust, 3'intake, ported blower. Then maybe 18-30hp. It all depends on what your have done to the car and how good the tune is.

Timing these properly for forced induction and you could make some power in the upper RPM's.
