Manual Shifter Ring

So i snapped the ring at the bottom of the boot a while back. Now that i got new boots coming in from Redline, i want a new ring. I looked on gmpartsdirect.com and i couldn't find it. Can someone either sell me one or at least find a site that has one for me to buy. I've looked endlessly with no luck. Thanks!

do you have a picture? i only know what the SS one looks like. How did you break it? so many people are, and its not hard to remove.

next time i head out to my car i will. and i cant remember how i broke it. happened a while ago. never really cared for getting a new one until now. i know its not hard to remove which is why i know i didnt break it simply by taking it off. as far as i know, i dont think the SS ones are different? when i look at pictures of the 2 setups it doesnt look different.

that's what i'm seeing too. Try this, go to your local dealer, and bring the broken piece into the parts department nd have them look it up in their database. Get the part number, then try pulling it up online.

You may just have to buy if from the dealer. If you have the stock shifter, and boot, you can try warranty-ing it.

yeah i've been meaning to go there and get one of those $135 service manuals. my mother used to babysit the main sales manager at the dealership where i bought my car so we'll see what happens.

AFAIK you cant buy just the ring. youll need to buy a complete boot at minimum, you MAY actually need to buy a shifter...........

i dont believe redline sends out the new boots with that plastic ring at the bottom of it. i read somewhere in the group buy thread that they stapled the new boot to the stock ring. havent had a chance to hit up the dealer or even spare a few moments to take a picture of the ring out in my car, i'm redoing my bathroom
