what does the downpipe have to do with the transmission? I would assume a downpipe would be the same fro auto or manual. Downpipe is part of the exhaust not transmission. Bump

actually i believe a 5spd dp is different then a auto, if you use some of the 5spd downpipes on an auto I think they rub on something causing a huge vibration that sounds like crap.

are you looking for a stock or aftermarket dp?

Yes, two two is right they are diff. Not sure if it is because of rubbing but the manual trans needs more flex from starting and revving. The pipe for the auto trans is more rigid and has a weaved mesh type flex and the Manual has a more accordion flex. Apparently it wasn't enough flex, esp and WOT shifts

Either. Kinda wanted to avoid aftermarket because of codes from High-flow cats. Have anything? or even a remedy for codes and hi-flow cats?

Will a stock downpipe from a 04 Ion Redline work? Looks like it may be a little short from pics but can't really tell.
