Is it hard to install

they made two different designs because evidently there was a difference in size between early and late models

only if your stocker has never been taken off. but a little wd-40 and some elbow grease should make easy work of it.

Only fits early 2006s. It's pretty easy to install took about 15 mins. I bought the wrong one so I had to get the other one. You could buy this and retap it to the 7mm if you want for the newer cars. I think it's 7mm I can't remember now. That's what I should have done but I was too lazy

 

how do i know if mine is an early 2006?

 

You could take your antenna off and measure the threads. I think early is 6mm and later is 7mm

 

they are in the houston area, so if this one doesn't fit, I'm sure you could work something out with them to get it swapped out.
