For Sale The One-Off Tein Coilovers $600 OBO
still nervous about the shocks on them with the miles.....i would like a couple more pictures then the 2 you have in your profile...Esp. the front setup so i can see the way the sway bar link bolts up. You have the wrenches for the adjustment right?
the coil over kit looks like any, sway bar mounts in the stock position, why would the front set up be different? How can it be different? Are they any other coil over kits for the cobalt that move the sway bar or bolts up differently? Actually I do not have wrenches for adjustment, I use a screw driver to tap the adjustment ring lose, then adjust by hand, and tap it back in the tighten it up, I've never had a problem with them moving out of place.
There is some misinformation here. First, Tein is coming out with these, eventually. The person I talked to said they are in testing, and they should have news soon. So, that means the parts will be available, sometime soon. Also, with that many miles on them, I would highly recommend a rebuild. And, lastly, the EDFC will not work on any TEIN basic coilovers, according to TEIN themselves. Not trying to **** on your FS thread, but just figured people might like to be properly informed.
So, price isn't bad for a $900 set of dampers.

I wasn't sure abuot the EDFC so I never promised they would work, just thought they would but I could be wrong, so once again i'm not mis-informing anyone, just stating what I think, not an actual fact.
I've seen that email from several members, Tein says this time after time to delay. I personally talk with the techs in person, and I've telling you what they've told me. I wouldn't hold your breath, and I don't think I'm mis-informing anyone. They may still be pondering the idea, but I wont believe it till I see it. This kit was oringinally test fit in 2007, and I wasn't brought back for the final fit and test till early 2009 or so.
