The first one was just a spare I had, this one is the guy who bought the first one's core. I could buy another spare to do them quicker if enough people are interested.

Painted, VHT wrinkle black paint.

About 48 hours honestly. It's dry to the touch in about 12 hours and solid, but if you rub it it will smear, so I like to let it sit and fully harden before I remove any tape or anything, just to make sure it won't mess up the paint pattern.

Sure, I can do whatever color combo or design you want. I did the first one this way because it was already half polished when I got it. Based on the good responses I got, I figured i'd do the second the same way.

This is the second one, and is still available at the moment. I can easily do one if you send yours in first though, doesn't make a difference to me. That would be ideal if you have a specific color combo in mind, so I know you will like the results, before I paint it some oddball way. Or I can do them just like this again.

I should look for one. I'd be interested to see how I could make one look neat. They are pretty nasty from the factory

Girl is about to buy a G5, if she gets a 2.2 I might just ****** the cover off of it and paint it to see what I come up with. I have an idea, just need one to try.

I'd want something simple. Just all black w/ the ecotec & stripes in red. Nothing fancy.

Yeah, either that or a brush-finish on the raised parts looks good with the wrinkle or even just a flat black. Color matching limits it to a certain scheme though, like what you have on your blower. The black/aluminum looks good on almost anything.

Send me one and i'll make it pretty

Did one with red tops, should be finished by the weekend, will post pics. Not my favorite, but it'll look good. Still prefer the polish/black look myself.

Here's the red-black one, same scheme, just two colors instead of polished.

Sure, but I gotta get another valve cover. I may just raise the core price up a little and start doing them more often.

I like the polish/black better myself, a local asked for this combo.
