Got the core back from Sizzle, who's next?

I'm thinking, the best way is to have whoever wants one send a deposit, tell me how they want it done, and i'll do it however they want.

I also bought an LE5 and 06+ 2.2L valve covers, so I can do one each for those motors.

Is this still for sale or are you just custom making them for people now?

I have another stocker, the one pictured is sold.

I just figured the easiest way to do them is on a per-order basis basically. I only do one at a time usually, so each one is "custom" from the point that it's the same work for me, doesn't matter what color it is. If I get a small deposit, i'll paint it whatever color scheme. If nobody wants to do that, i'll go back to polish/wrinkle as that has been the most well-liked design so far.

How would you go about doing a color scheme for the lettering and valve cover? For example, if you wanted red lettering and black for the valve cover.

Easiest way is to paint the red first, let it dry, tape over it and paint the rest of the cover.

I have one right now and not a lot of spare money, so I don't need it right this moment. I'll let you know though. Be sure to post up pics

No, you'd have to get me the paint if you wanted something specific.

Yeah, i've been super busy, had a head gasket job on a jeep that the chick was going ballistic on, I picked the head up after work last night, worked on it until 1am, came home tonight from work to wrap up a few little things, found a bad water pump, went and found one at 9pm and installed it, then delivered the car, after arguing with her that we don't know what we're doing and she wouldn't pay for the pump.

I don't work until 2pm tomorrow, i'll probably head to the shop in the morning and knock out the polishing.

I can do whatever. Best bet, if you have a specific color in mind, is let me know exactly what paint you want. I've found the duplicolor red caliper paint looks fantastic with a victory red GM car, but I'd have to do some checking on a good match for rally yellow or any of the blues.

I did the first stage of sanding today, brought it home for some hand sanding, then it will get polished. I am off work tomorrow, hopefully I can make some progress.

Thanks, please do post up pics. They really look good, every one i've finished, makes me regret not doing one for my car just like this. Don't know why the idea never came to me before

looks damn good bro! cant wait for mine

Where'd you get that carbon fiber fuel rail cover? looks sick.
I found some spray paint at a local parts store that looks very similar to srtc and i might spray the spark plug cover with it to try and bring some more color under the hood with the new valve cover

I should be able to finish the polish tomorrow, and then paint it. I'm off, but there's this chick that wants to hang out in the morning, so...

I'll let you know what's up.
