For Sale Ported LSJ exhaust manifold
I read the other thread and I definitely don't doubt your words but I would love to see graphs showing the powerband difference between this manifold, stock manifold, and a reputable shorty header.
Me too, if I had the car to do it on I would test it myself but my only Cobalt at the moment is in many small pieces and it's not gonna be running anytime soon. I have one out there with a member who is supposed to give me back-to-back dyno results and I'm gonna credit him back for it but it hasn't happened yet.
No way to tell, it was used when I got it and there's no "wear" that happens on a piece of cast metal.
It's in great shape, was actually a pretty good casting (i've seen some with core shift and other strange issues) and cleaned up nicely, wasn't too far off when I resurfaced the flanges either, some of them are way warped.
What is it that you are concerned about?

If you have porting experience and tools it isn't bad, just time consuming. If you've never done it before, it's not worth buying the tools to do it yourself just to do one manifold. The last order of porting bits I bought, I spent over $100. The long reaching ones for the runners are almost $20 each.
