RARE BOV! Look Inside!

Very very rare if you guys are into this type stuff

I am selling my Greddy Type S bov. I bought it in a kit for the S13 Silvia and I just used the BOV. Its a Black Top Type S which were made before the purple top ones. It comes with ALL original parts and instructions as well as original box. I even have the shipping paperwork when it went through customs from Japan.

No, I will not just sell the BOV. I bought the kit and I will sell it as such. It will work on any greddy flange or piping.
They go on ebay for a minimum of $220 for just the bov, so I am asking more since I have all the stuff. Its a true collectors item and makes the sound the Type S is famous for.

Price: $275
Come at me with a decent offer and we may be able to work something out.

PM me so we can work something out

I love my greddy RS and this would be cool since I already have the flange for it and everything. But to be honest im looking to go twords a HKS after my greddy, i just love that sound of the HKS. Maybe even a TIAL, those sound good. I still want to hear a soundclip of this one.

And yes the sound is adjustable b/c it is a spring BOV. The piece you see on the top of the BOV in the picture is an adjustable tensioner. Imagine if your stock recirc valve had a tensioner on it, tightening it would make it sound more like the Dejon upgraded spring. Softest setting would make it quieter and just a longer softer PSHHHH sound. Tighter is a short loud PSST sound, tighter then that will make it surge a bit under 4lbs of boost so you get a double blow off sound, doesnt hurt the compressor wheel at this point since its a low boost, but it will slow the wheel down, but generally your not racing when your blowing off 4lbs of boost anyways

Why you say that? I heard on a caliber SRT-4 and the sound is great. Problem was that he was spiking so much boost the BOV actually started letting out early. At like 3 grand he spiked 20lb's lets say, and the HKS would go PS PS PS PS PS and then at 3500 it would stop fluttering and hold till redline.

But since HKS are Piston operated, they make an upgraded purple piston to handle more PSI then the stock one. Its cheap too. He just ordered that to handle his boost and stop the flutter.

My question about my Greddy is, when I 1st start my car I get compressor surge under normal driving when everything is cold. I mean i will be driving down my block and it will be surging at every shift no matter what the boost. As soon as things warm up it stop and will blow off like normal. Is this normal? and why the hell would that happen. I sprayed some WD-40 inside the BOV on the piece that raises and lowers to let the air out, seemed to help a tad bit and when it blows off you hear it seal real nice when its done, but WD-40 only lasts so long b4 you need more
