Yes, it'll be fine on stock internals. As far as numbers go, it depends on your definition of low boost. The amount of power you put down will also be dependent on your tune, as well as supporting mods.

20psi should put you right around 400whp... just an estimate though.

Thanks for posting that information for me. Everything about the turbo sounds good but the only thing about it I dont like is it is internally gated. Is that changeable? How much hp did you make off of it? PM me about that deal that you will make me.

It is a wonderful turbo. It is easily changeable from Internal wastegate to External wastegate. The turbo that's on my car now was set-up for internal wastegate originally, and is now being run with an external wastegate. That was my plan with this turbo, but it just barely won't fit with my current manifold (Vulcan Equal Length). Any other manifold, and it'd fit just fine.

There are two ways to go about swapping it to External Wastegate. One way is to just cut off the internal wastegate and flapper and have the hole left behind welded shut. This is what I did. Only took like 10minutes, and that includes the welding.

The second option is to cut off the internal wastegate, and have the same hole welded shut, AS WELL as having the old wastegate hole welded shut.

The first option will require you to have the Wastegate mounted on the downpipe, as I did.

The second option will require you to have a wastegate mounted on the Exhaust Manifold.

And I'll knock $100 off for you. If you let me know ahead of time, I can have it with me when I'm in Dayton (Mon-Fri)... making pick-up, meeting, or delivery easier/quicker.

Is that a question?

Yeah. I'm rather surprised as well that there has been relatively little interest.

So, what is going to be your replacement? What is wrong with the s256?

I'm not 100% sure what I'll be replacing it with. Eye balling a Billet wheeled, dual ball bearing HP5557R with the T04SP 4" inlet ported compressor housing with a V-Band inlet/outlet Turbine Housing.

Nothing is wrong with the S256. As I said in the original post, its in perfect condition.

Buy this thing.

If its not gone in a week or two, I'll figure out a place to put it.

You have the Vulcan Tubular or Log? I haven't actually tried to put it on... but from the measurements that I took, the Compressor inlet would end up hitting the Water Pump.

My 50trim with 3" inlet just barely fit... but from Turbine Outlet to Compressor inlet, the S256 is 2" or 3" shorter than my 50trim, so I had my fingers crossed that it might fit.

If I don't have it sold in about a week or two, I'm just gonna have the head flange cut off and about an 1" of piping added so that it'll clear.

If it sells, I'll probably do the same thing, but I'm gonna have the Turbo Flange cut off and switch to an entire V-Band set-up.

Do you have pics of it mounted? I'd like to see how close of a call yours was.

Nvm... I got smart and looked in your profile.

Son of a bitch. That's probably why yours fits. The 3" on my current 50trim fits... I don't think the 4" on the S256 will fit. While I love the top-end that this Manifold gives... it should have been made to position the turbo further away from the block. Would have simplified so much.
