you are still correct though in saying the .70a/r bullseye in the 256 turbine 74/64 inducer/exducer is physically larger vs the precision .63s 72/62
but to compare apples to apples, the bullseye 262(same as the 362 just a smaller compressor cover) is a 62mm inducer 80.6mm exducer. still smaller than the 6262 compressor but the .70 a/r turbine housing going from the 256 to the 262 jumps to a 76.3mm inducer and 67.6mm exducer. much larger than the 6262 unit. but thats to be expected when going from a .63 on one turbo to a .70 on another.
i'm not trying to prove or disprove you. just...throwing some numbers around to help out. you can't just compare a/r sizes, they're only ratios. you need to compare wheel sizes. thats like if someone were to say "i went with the T4 .58 a/r on my 6262 because it'll spool faster than the T3 .63" because thats a false statement. the .63 6262 will spool faster than the .58 6262.
but now with that last part being said, and the difference in size between the 256 compressor and the 6262 compressor. the 256 may still spool faster with the 70 housing vs the 6262 .63 setup.
okay theres my tech post for the day carry on

Thanks mark. Im still going to check with a company i have been talking to that manufactures billet wheels and see if the do or could make one. If they do it might be good for some of the guys here who have a s256.
I love your technical comparison lol. I have always been great at math and complex reasoning and stuff like that but for some reason discussions like the above post i just cant comprehend. I think its because i have never had anyone really explain it to me. I think i will need an in person demonstration with a turbo i can look at and physically take measurements on myself to enable me to understand it all. Gasp....sigh....one day....lol

thanks. its good. haven't driven it but maybe twice since labor day though. right now its on stands getting a new hard line to the front passenger wheel from the abs booster. and then i'll be tracking down a pesky coolant leak that i've been putting off since CED. but other than that just sitting, saving, and planning.
