The drive is a cd-burner/rom/dvd-ROM,you get Powercord as well but i think it needs a new cord. Dosnt charge the battery every time. Sometime the computer recon. it and sometimes it dosent. Also it has only a 3 gig HD since my 80 burnt out. I am also selling a blue paintball gun. Im thinking its a spyder not to sure but it dose work falwlessly and has a double finger trigger. I went to epinions and amazon.com and research the notebook for user comments and reviews...

95% of the people complained about Overheating, and the power connector on the motherboard failing!
