Will it bolt up properly though? I know the TC's have the 3 bolt, and the SC's and other trim levels have the 2 bolt. The SC is a 2.5 with a crush bend down to 2" over the axel pipe. The TC is a straight through 2.5 with no crush bend.

it doesnt have a crush bend. the whole exhaust is mandrel bent from the factory. it necks down to 2.25" over the rear axle not 2.0".

so for a fit on the 09 2.2l, its be better to get the LSJ exhaust because of the 2 bolt flange. I thought that the LSJ is only 2'' straight through. Im looking for either 2.25'' or 2.5''.

the lsj is a 2.50" exhaust with a neck down to 2.25" over the rear axle. the 2.2l cars have a 2" exhaust.

A "neck down"? You mean a flawed restriction..... I have a pic here from 2006 when i put my corsa on showing the 2.14 diameter, not 2.25. Im not debating that though as some could be bent that extra .1 Just going by first hand experience. In any regards, it's **** and my sc was much better off once I sawed that off. At least they got it right with the LNF :P Im trying to find the pic, it looks crush bent, has a flat spot.

ive had mine down too when it was replaced with a 2.50" section ..... i measured exactly 2.25"(it could fluctuate between vehicles like you said). i didnt have any flat spots, and it was necked down/ mandrel bent.

*what i meant by neck down was it tappers to 2.25" from the 2.50". no crushes or irregular bends.

Yeah and since the dp is restricted to 2.25 as well with the bung I dont think it would matter to much about the restriction over the axel pipe.

It's in my friends garage. I'll take them next time I can get a hold of him. He works a lot. I'll keep you posted, though.
